The Flower Shop is on the move!
We would like to let all of our customers know that from 1st October, we will no longer be situated inside Yarnton Nurseries Garden Centre. We would also like to explain the reasons for this decision, so please read on to find out more ...
During the past 18 months it has become very obvious to us that we are receiving most of our orders and contracts either online through our website and internet search engines or over the telephone. Although we love having our shop as a showroom and a base for our business and we absolutely LOVE chatting to the people passing through the nursery, we have come to realise that, from a financial point of view, the shop is holding us back rather than allowing us to move forward.
We want to be able to offer our services to the whole of Oxfordshire and become a more flexible and efficient company. So, from the 1st October, all of our orders will be taken online or by telephone. Customers will still be able to e.mail us, view our Facebook page and our Blog for all the latest news and offers, or contact us with any enquiries via our website.
Becoming a more flexible business will mean that we can pass this flexibility on to our customers. We will still offer free, no obligation consultations for our work, whether it be for weddings, sympathy designs, corporate events or workshops. All of these will take place at a venue of the prospective client’s choice.
We will still be available seven days a week and, with the exception of some of the Bank Holidays, every day of the year. We will continue to stock the same products and provide the same high quality, fresh hand tied bouquets, cut flowers, floristry sundries and everything else a high street florist would provide. Most of our products are already available to purchase online via our website and further products will be added to our online shop in the coming months, along with further improvements to the general layout of the site.
From a local point of view, our services will still be available in the Yarnton and Kidlington area and we will, of course, continue with our existing contracts and honour any offers made to local residents during our time at the nursery.
If anyone reading this blog post has any concerns or questions, please feel free to contact us via the usual e.mail addresses and telephone numbers, or via our contact page or through Facebook or Twitter. At some point, the website address and other contact details will change but this will be a gradual process and we will be making the changes as seamlessly as possible.
We would like to offer thanks to all of our customers for their support in the past and also to Yarnton Nurseries itself for being such a great support during our time there.
Which just leaves us to say, let the adventure begin! We can’t wait to become even better than we already are, if that’s possible!
Thanks to all of our customers for their continued support.
